There are a countless number of unforgettable sights and attractions in the general area of Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. Try to schedule a few extra days to take in the sights of this beautiful region, especially if you're visiting from out-of-state. And don't forget to bring your camera!


Here are some suggestions for other things to see and do during your 'fishing trip':

  • Tacoma's Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is one of the top American zoos and one of the most beautiful.

  • Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo is a 92-acre garden featuring over 300 animal species. Noted for its cutting-edge exhibits, this award-winning zoo is hailed as one of the finest in the world.

  • Kenmore Air offers a spectacular way to see the Puget Sound region from a seaplane. They offer flights to Victoria, B.C., and the San Juan Islands. They also offer Orca Whale Watching excursions.

  • Visit the Museum of Flight and relive flight's greatest trials and triumphs up to the brink of World War II. This museum contains many vintage aircraft and spacecraft.

  • Have a meal at the SkyCity Restaurant at The Space Needle where the 500-foot high restaurant rotates 360 degrees so you can 'see it all' while you are comfortably dinning. There is also an observation deck where you will discover indoor and outdoor viewing and scenery that is absolutely breathtaking.

  • Climb aboard the tram and explore 600 acres of forests, meadows, and wetlands at the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park. Expert naturalists point out the habits and habitats of our native wildlife.

  • Take a cruise from Seattle to Tillicum Village on Blake Island State Park. Tillicum Village offers unparalleled salmon dinners, authentic Native American dances, and art.
